What do we do in Health Coaching?
Visioning
Together, we'll develop your vision for your own health, taking time to think about and imagine what a healthy you looks and feels like.
Setting Goals
We'll figure out what reasonable goals look like for you, and how to discover the will power and way power to achieve them.
Experimenting
We'll encourage you to stretch a bit. Experimenting is the best way to figure out what you like and don't like, what works and what doesn't.
Health Coaching is science-based
Health coaching is a strengths-based approach to lasting lifestyle changes based on coaching psychology, a field focused on the scientific study of happiness and well-being. Health Coaches are great listeners and want to hear your stories. They foster self-acceptance and self-respect. Your Coach will challenge you to challenge yourself - knowing there is no such thing as failure, only opportunities to learn. They know that your life is at stake if you don't take care of yourself. In addition to building on your strengths, at Health Improv, we kindle the fun, creative spirit that makes pursuing good health a lifelong pleasure. After all, why pursue good health if you aren’t going to enjoy it?
